I made some bubbles using watercolor tonight, because sometimes you need to play and create something just for the fun of creating it.
I wrote some affirmations around the bubbles.
They say:
I am a creator.
I make time to play.
I create beauty.
Playful creativity heals me.
I choose joy.
I value my creativity.
My soul loves to play.
I learn through creative play.
As children, we all know how to play. It comes naturally to us.
Then as we become adults, many learn that play is “a waste of time.” We are taught that other tasks are “more important.”
Play is not a waste of time. Play actually heals us and inspires us.
Play gives us MORE energy to do the tasks on our to-do lists.
Play calms our nervous systems.
Play disarms anger and opens our hearts.
It is arguably one of the MOST important things we can do.
So please, be sure to make time to play and to playfully create.
Your inner child needs it.
When we take time to nurture our playful creativity, we make the world more beautiful.

Journaling prompts:
What were your favorite activities as a kid?
Do any of them still resonate with you?
These are some of my favorite quotes about play:
“In every real man a child is hidden who wants to play.”
- Friedrich Nietzsche
“Play is the highest form of research.”
- Albert Einstein
“The real secret of life is to be completely engaged with what you are doing in the here and now, and instead of calling it work, realize it is play.”
- Alan Watts

May you always feel the love that surrounds you.
Doesn't get more playful than bubbles! Wonderful!
